About the Institute For Replication

Our Mission

The Institute for Replication is dedicated to promoting and generating reproductions
and replications, which are essential to advancing the credibility in research findings.

Our work, in collaboration with replicators from the research community, allows
us to assess which findings are robust—supporting science as a self-correcting
system and leading to major effects on future policy-making.

The Challenge

Improve Low Rates of Replication

Despite the benefits of reproducibility and replicability, these
rates are surprisingly low, and direct replications are rarely
published.

The Solution

Innovative Approaches

We are addressing these challenges with innovative approaches
in how we conduct, reward, and communicate the outcomes
of reproductions and replications.
