I4R collaborates with multiple journals and special issues dedicated to replications. The Journal of Comments and Replications in Economics (JCRE) publishes comments and replications. Special issues include collaborations with Economic Inquiry, Research & Politics, Canadian Journal of Economics, and World Development Perspectives. Several journals have replication sections or are open to replication submissions. We conducted a survey of journal editors in late 2021 about their willingness to publish comments and replications. The survey included editors from economics, finance, political science, and international development journals. Results show varying policies across journals, with some actively encouraging replications while others have more restrictive policies.
